Billet Engineering is seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant / Yard Person to join our team in Kalgoorlie. This is a hands-on role supporting our workshop and yard operations, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery, and being part of a dynamic engineering environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Assist tradespeople with general workshop duties
• Load and unload trucks and deliveries
• Operate forklifts and other yard equipment (training provided if required)
• Maintain a clean and organized yard and workshop area
• Perform basic mechanical tasks and equipment preparation
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
• Support inventory control and stock movement

✅ What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn
• Forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and workplace standards
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
