The successful applicant will report to the Workshop Manager and be responsible to deliver all Industrial Painted finishes to high standard to ensure quality assurance is achieved. This role is heavily safety focused and requires exceptional attention to detail.
About the role
- AQF Certificate II or III
- Forklift ticket
- Dedication to safety is paramount
- Loading paint, and rustproofing agents into dedicated storage areas
- Securing items to be sprayed within spray booth
- Directing spray guns to apply even coatings
- Moving items to drying areas and stacking them for further painting and packaging
- Starting and monitoring extractor and drying fans, and heaters
- Maintaining cleaning nozzles, containers and hoses of equipment
- Maintain the spray booth in a clean and tidy manor.
- Grinding, sanding and cleaning surfaces of items to be painted
