As a Manufacturing leader in the Goldfields Billet Engineering specialize in the repair and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders and associated components the Mining, Civil, Oil and Gas industry in Australia.
We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified CNC Machinist, experience with Mazak Smooth Technology Mills and Lathes highly desirable.
ABOUT THE ROLE

- Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts by performing the following duties:
- Read engineered drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, input, or edit computerized machine program according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
- Confer with production personnel, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

- Trade Certificate or equivalent Australian recognized.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Engineering solutions

- Pass PEM and DAS
